PROJECT RESULTS

AIMS

The “Re-engaging Youth Through Green Jobs” project aims at creating re-engagement programs focusing on NEETs (Young people not in education, employment or training) using green and greening jobs as an integration tool face particular vulnerabilities, especially social and labour market exclusion. To remedy these vulnerabilities and provide young people with innovative solutions in training and education, this project seeks to create re-engagement programs around green jobs adapted to the needs of youth who have been “out of the system” for quite some time.

PR1: Analysis of the situation of NEETs in partner countries

The goal is to better understand the situation NEET youth
face in the different countries, to map organisations working with this kind of public who could be potential partners sending young participants to the programs once they are
established.

PR2: Step-by-Step Guide for Planning and Implementing Re-engagement programs

The step-by-step guide provides a detailed description of the different steps and tasks to be accomplished in order to put in place a re-engagement program. The guide is destined to
serve other organisations who wish to put in place the same program.

C1: Study Visit at 3PA Premises

The study visit is supposed to give the coordinators and other participants an idea of what a school of ecological transition looks like. It allows them to discover and participate in our
re-engagement program, before being asked to plan and implement one themselves.

C2: Training of Trainers at 3PA

The training of trainers workshop presented future trainers in the new re-engagement programs the pedagogical keys allowing them to successfully re-engage young people. During
the training, the 3PA pedagogical approach was explained, concerning learning by doing, active ecology as well as the importance of active listening.

C2: Youth Exchange in Greece

Aghiokampos, 21/04/2023 – 30/04/2023
Aims: to give some important tools about Green Jobs
and sustainability in general, in order to re-engage them and open new opportunities for them. In collaboration
with other organizations from Greece organized activities and workshops on the following subjects:
- Eco-building
- Renewable Energy Recourses
- Regenerating farming and permaculture
- Health and cooking
- Carpentry and use of electric tools

"Re-engaging Youth Through Green Jobs" Youth Exchage at DEOK Camping Venue

The Youth Exchange was organized between 21/09/2023 - 02/10/2023. In total 20 people participated at the Youth Exchange in Cyprus, composed by 3 groups of 6 people - 5 young people (up to 30 yrs old)
+ 1 leader (no age limit - from Cyprus, Greece and France and 2 trainers/facilitators.
The goal of the Youth Exchange was to provide the opportunity to participants to experience the re-engagement program of youth ingreen jobs developed in Cyprus. During the Youth Exchange participants will become familiar with tools and methods promoting green jobs and sustainability.
