ELENITSA GEORGIOU

Elenitsa Georgiou holds a BMusic, a Masters degree in MEd in Music and the Creative Arts in Education, and a diploma as a Storyteller. She has attended numerous workshops and participated in Festivals and intensive courses in the fields of Music Pedagogy, Music Education, Storytelling and Story writing, physical theatre, voice techniques and world music in Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Bulgaria, Germany and England.She is an early childhood music teacher and the founder of ‘The Majestic Music Tree’, which offers music pedagogical concerts and workshops/storytelling performances to children and adults.

Elenitsa is an active member of Social Policy and Action Organisation's projects as a Youth Ambassador for ' React-Act-Prevent Sexual Violence' and participated in the TrainingCourse  'Storytelling for tolerance' in Poland through the project Chance2Learning and the Youth Exchange 'IYOUME Youth Against Human Trafficking' in Malta.

ATHENA STAVRINIDOU

Athina Stavrinidou completed in 2018 her LL.B degree at the University of Cyprus. Currently she is a trainee lawyer at George Z. Georgiou & Associates LLC and in September 2019 she will begin her LLM Human Rights Law postgraduate studies at the University of Nottingham. She strongly believes that nowadays, more than ever, societies need people to help and give voice to vulnerable people or people that are silenced or ignored.  For this reason, since 2018 she is actively involved as a volunteer in different organisations, events or social movements in Cyprus which aim to help people and make our society a better place to live.

IRENE YEROLEMIDOU

Irene Yerolemidou was born in Strovolos, Nicosia and since 2015 she is a medical student at the University of Cyprus. She has been the president of the NGO ‘Cyprus Medical Students’ Association’ (CyMSA) for the term 2017-2018 and she is a certified non-formal education trainer from the ‘International Federation for Medical Atudents’ Associsations’ (IFMSA). She has facilitated different sessions in Cyprus for soft skills, public health and sexual & reproductive health and she was a trainer for an International Public Health Leadership workshop in Armenistis, Greece and for a Training New Trainers’ workshop in Taichung, Taiwan. She has attended 5 General Assemblies of the ‘International Federation for Medical Students’ Associations’, two of them as president of CyMSA-Cyprus and one of them as a facilitator for the Public Health sessions.
Irene has been a volunteer in different NGOs working in a National level since 2015 including PASYKAF, AIDS Solidarity Movement Cyprus/Cy Checkpoint, Karaiskakio Foundation and other health related organisations. She has participated in several Erasmus + projects so far including training courses and youth exchanges and she has delivered some sessions in two of them for topics such as youthpass, communication skills, gender equality and sexual & reproductive health.

MIHAELLA GEORGIOU

Michaella Georgiou studied at the Department of Social Work, School of Health and Caring Proffessions at the University of Western Greece. During her studies she did internships with various agencies dealing with people with motor disabilities, children who were victims of abandonment and neglect, people with cancer and "juvenile delinquents". She volunteered at a non profitable association for people with cancer and at a center for addiction prevention and psychosocial health. From an early age she is also active in summer camps. As a team leader she worked with primary and secondary school children with creative formal and non-formal learning activities.She is currently an active member of the NGO Social Policy and Action as a Youth Ambassador in the 'React-Act-Prevent Sexual Violence' program. Through the organization she also participated in the "Creativity Thinking in Youth Work" Training Course in Bulgaria and the "Free in Deed" Youth Exchange in Malta.

FILIO ALEXANDRINOU

Filio Alexandrou, was born and raised in Cyprus and she is 26 years old. She finished her LLB in 2016, worked as a lawyer for some time and then had a break. Then she participated in a long-term European Volunteering Service in Poland, at a school for children and adults with mental disabilities. Also, she participated at different Erasmus+ projects, youth exchanges and other local and European projects, an example, she was a Delegate in the 3rd Youth Summit of the European Youth Parliament of Cyprus, in 2016. As she loves travelling and meeting new people, she started learning another language, she is fluent in English and Greek as her native language but, she is at the process of learning Spanish as well. Furthermore, she is in the middle of a course, on International Women’s Health and Human Rights and she has also applied for a master’s degree on International and European Business Law. Her passion, as long as she remembers herself, has always been to actively be involved in the field of Human Rights and to help people. For this she is dedicating her time and efforts to achieve that. At this moment of her life, she is working on two personal projects, one is on Human Rights and the other one is about poetry and literature, another of her passions. She considers herself as an activist and a volunteer. Her motto in life is ‘’never settle for less’’ and now, she is looking for her new adventure.

PANAYIOTA KYRIAKOU

Panayiota Kyriacou was born in 21st of May. She is from occupied Rizokarpaso. She is 30 years old and graduated of industry Secretarial Studies at KES COLLEGE. She was excellent student, with general degree 88, 15 and 87,73. Subsequently, when she excelled, she got scholarship for the 2nd semester of her industry in College, at Secretarial. She worked with the Program of Human Resources Principle, at Cyprus Tourism Organization (30th September – 22th November 2010) as to Press and Information Office, (1st September 2014 – 1st March 2015) for gaining work experience. She deals with the common and she is volunteer in various organizations at Sophia Foundation for the Children, at CardioHealth Cardiology Center, at Europa Donna Cyprus, at Karaiskakio Foundation for the Children, at Alkionides Charity and Nicosia heart disease link. She is diplomat at Cyprus Youth Diploma Cy and she had gone in several events regarding about the political subjects mainly for the our Cyprus problem and watched a lot of seminars that are related with her studies. Recently, two months before, she talked as MEP at 1st European Parliament of Young People at Education and Culture Committee. She tries to have active involvement as much as possible and writes articles in Antilogos Newspaper, Reporter, Autodioikisi Cy and AngelsWorld.

NAYIA CHRISTODOULOU

Nayia Christodoulou is a Law graduate from University of Cyprus and holds a minor in Philosophy. She has worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Cyprus and works at a legal office for the acquirement of her professional title. She has made several researches on human rights issues, inter alia,Trafficking in Cyprus and in EU, Rape in Cyprus, Sexual Discrimination in EU and The Development of EU towards Human Rights. She has participated in Model United Nations in the Committee of UNHCR and represented Denmark. Nayia has also been a Young Ambassador for the rights of Political Asylum Seekers.
