A new starting point in guiding young people in the labor market

The Social Policy and Action Organization was represented by a group of young people at the Youth Exchange entitled "Job GPS Two", organized by Pro Dezvoltare DACIA Association (APDD), from June 15, 2018 - December 15, 2018 in Horezu, Romania. The Youth Exchange was funded by Erasmus+ K1 Youth Exchange.
Within the project participated 60 young people from 5 European organizations: Ecoworld Rhodopes Association – Bulgaria, Associação Juvenil da Ilha Terceira (AJITER) Portugal, Building Bridges Cultural Association – Spain, Social Policy And Action Organization – Cyprus and the coordinating organization Pro Dezvoltare DACIA Association (APDD) Romania.
The main objective of the project is to increase the employability by targeting young people to a suitable job according to their own abilities.The mobility of the project took place in Horezu, Vâlcea County between 15 and 24 October 2018.
"JOB GPS TWO" mobility activities used non-formal, interactive and participatory methods that favored creativity, communication, interaction, critical and creative thinking, intuition and teamwork.
The project aims to be a "GPS" for informing and guiding young people on the labor market.
At the end of the mobility, the learning outcomes were validated through the Youthpass Certificate.
Results:
In total 50 young people and 10 leaders participated at the Youth Exchange.
