During the 9 days, the participants tested non-formal education methods on creativity, brainstorming, proposed solutions to real challenges that Young people are facing nowadays: the pressure of 24h social networking, lack of employment, personal and profesional opportunities in rural and small urban communities, migration of youth to major urban áreas; the disruption between the education system and labour market and issues related to bodyimage. One of the expressions we hear often from young people we work with is “I am not a creative person.” Using experiential and interactive methods specific to non-formal learning contexts and through exchanges of best practices, we intend to guide the youth workers on this journey of creativity, to learn how they can fuel their creativity, what are the barriers to innovation and how to help young people think outside the box.
